4 Key Skills for Teams and Groups To Thrive in Today's Workspace

I am very pleased to share with you a new article of mine that has just been published in the Fall 2021 edition of choice magazine of professional coaching. Their upcoming edition is on Disruption and

"navigating change at an accelerated pace", a topic I have become very familiar with over the three decades of my career.

"The changes to our workspaces, and work-life, since early 2020 have been greater than many workplace revolutions in the past" - Jennifer Britton, choice Magazine, pg 40, Vol 19 Number 3

Many of you know that part of focus while working in the global sector was on support post-disaster management, supporting projects with the rebuilding of countries after natural disasters struck. I also learned early in my career about the instability of career pathways. Every job I started moved into a significant organizational change process within the first 3 days to 3 months of starting a new role! Prior to starting my business back in 2004, I became accustomed to always be on the lookout for change. This is probably one of the factors which has shaped my future-focus mindset for business the most.

Four key skills and focus areas I found to be critical in cultivating in the teams I led were:

  • Curiosity

  • Vision

  • Experimentation

  • Connection

These are the four areas highlighted in this latest article I have penned for choice Magazine.

I'm very pleased to be able to share with you a download of the article. Please enjoy and let me know how I, or one of the Reconnecting Workspaces Certified Coaches, can support you in your work and change process. Reach out and let's have a conversation.

How are these four skills impacting your world right now?

Warm regards,

Jennifer Britton
